- Ritual is a reliable science and fact-based multivitamin and supplement organization creating trustworthy products by and for women and the people they hold dear. They are committed to leading by example from the top with an all-female leadership team of four. Ritual’s CEO and founder, Katerina Schneider, saw a gap in the marketplace and sought to create the kind of ethical and safe product she wanted but had trouble finding back when she was pregnant. Ritual is led and supported by real men and women who believe in their products and message, which makes it easier for consumers to do the same.
- Ritual is completely transparent about the ingredients they use to make their products, and then go above and beyond to create Traceable finished goods, meaning that they provide both maps and lists to be completely honest and accurate about where each individual ingredient comes from. Each ingredient is listed along with its place of origin, supplier company, and function to leave you with no confusion or concerns when it comes to what exactly you are putting into your body when you use their vitamins and supplements.
- Ritual is committed to giving customers the best possible experience with their products by providing them with all the needed information and tools to find the right product for them that they can easily establish healthy routines with. Ritual lives up to its name by delivering consistently on a monthly basis and lets the customer stay in control of their delivery dates so that they never have to run out of multivitamins when they need them most.
- Ritual does not try to trap customers or squeeze extra money out of them. Their return policy is extremely generous, with a 30-day guarantee that allows customers to return their order and receive a full refund if done within the first month of ordering. Additionally, it is easy to cancel an order online whenever you want with no strings attached or extra costs or bothersome emails to haunt you even after you have supposedly gone. Ritual is just that confident that you will love what they have to offer.
Ritual's women’s and men’s multivitamins range from $30 to $35 a month depending on the kind you order, while multivitamins for kids and teens are all $30 across the board. You can also purchase bundles of two different multivitamin orders to save money, as this bundle deal costs $50 no matter which bundle package you get, but only for the first time you bundle.
Ritual offers the smallest range compared to its competitors, as with everything costing between $30 to $35, and although that is relatively affordable, they have much to be desire in terms of variety compared to the other health and wellness brands. Garden of Life, for examples, offers a much wider array of products and therefore has a wider price range that spans from range $7.19 to $74.39. MegaFood is another brand with a much more varied selected and thus wider range of prices that stretches from $11 to $92. Lastly, there’s Best Nest Wellness, with a mid-sized price range that is still offers more options compared to Ritual, spanning from $13.99 to $39.99.
Pros:
Ritual has worked hard to create a Smart Capsule for their multivitamins that all have three main components: a delayed-release capsule design which allows them the pills to dissolve with time in less sensitive areas of the stomach so that it is not necessary to take them with food, an added-in essence of mint that gives the pills a fresh and fairly pleasant taste to help them go down smoothly and easily, and lastly a beadlet-in-oil encapsulated design that allows all of the most important daily nutrients to be delivered in a mere two pills per day, thereby eliminating excessive pill popping and waste.
Ritual is inclusive, offering products for just about anyone and covering all bases from men to women to teens and kids. Their products are all multivitamins tailor-made to best suit and boost the health of the product’s given gender and age demographics. Ritual leaves you with carefully crafted and tested products that are helpful and manageable for whoever is taking them
Plenty of health benefits come from taking Ritual’s products. Their multivitamin made for men aged 18 to 49, for example, promotes heart and brain health, normal muscle function, and normal immune function, while their multivitamin for women in the same age group promotes brain and bone health, blood-building, and antioxidant support.
Ritual’s website is extremely easy to navigate and visually appealing. It is also full of honest, upfront information and facts, various case studies and tests of their products, numerous product reviews from consumers, and many ways to get in touch and interact, whether it is via social media or newsletter.
Cons:
With Ritual, you honestly don’t have a ton of options, with just one multivitamin to choose from for each age group and gender except women above 18, who have three options, but two only apply if you are pregnant or have recently given birth. The options they do have are not flexible with order size or dosing, as everything comes in a sixty capsule pill that requires you to take two a day. All they offer are multivitamins, which may work for them, but makes them fall short of their competitors when it comes to product choice, control, and range.
You are forced to set up a monthly subscription with Ritual if you want to get their products. While they claim it is easy to cancel with no problem at any time, it is still frustrating to have the choice and freedom taken out of your hands a bit from the get-go. They are also not totally clear on if you can still get a refund if you are canceling your subscription after the first 30 days of use.
Ritual offers a $10 bundling discount only for the first bundle you order, so that every other bundle from you may get from there on out is full price at $60. Their website is a bit misleading about this and you have to dig around in their Help section to find that the bundle discount does indeed only apply to a person’s very first bundled order and also that you can only bundle a maximum of six products.
Ritual, unfortunately, does not currently offer any shipping outside of the United States. While they are apparently planning to expand their reach down the line, for now they are domestic and online-only, something you have to really search around on their site for a bit to find out.
IDEAL CUSTOMER
Although Ritual offers products for men, women, teens, and kids of all ages, races, and backgrounds, the ideal customer is probably women between 18 and 49, especially pregnant women, women with young children, or women who have just recently given birth.
How long does the product last?
Ritual’s multivitamins are ordered at a monthly rate that is replaced with each new month and can be canceled at any time. With this in mind, the products last as long as you want to keep taking them.
Coupon/sales
Ritual offers a $10 off bundle deal for a customer’s first time bundling, in addition to other exclusive offers you can get when you sign up for their free newsletter.
GOOD FOR GIFTING?
Ritual products are great for gifting thanks to their affordable costs, practicality and usefulness for men and women of all ages, and generous refund policy that allows you to cancel your first order and refund it in full if the gift recipient is not satisfied with no returns needed at all. You can also purchase e-gift cards to give to someone so they can choose their own Ritual product on their own time.
