  • Bulletproof is best known for its energizing, keto-friendly coffee products. Bulletproof uses super-high quality, Arabica coffee beans, sourced from high-elevation, Rainforest Alliance certified single-origin coffee estates. The brand does its absolute best to minimize the number of mycotoxins and other contaminations in their beans. Furthermore, Bulletproof coffee is made with grass-fed butter, ensuring a creamy consistency and quality levels of fat to keep consumers fueled. The brand promises to deliver one of the creamiest lattes you'll ever have· Grass-fed butter is also a good source of butyrate, vitamin A, beta-carotene, and the fatty acid CLA. Lastly, Bulletproof uses the key ingredient of Brain Octane C8 MCT oil in their coffee recipe, pure C8 derived from 100% coconut oil, triple distilled water, and purified with water, heat, and pressure. Does this process allow for the output of highly ketogenic C8 MCT? Unlike many other MCT oils, Brain Octane C8 MCT oil is odorless and tasteless.

Pros:

There is an abundance of educational material available on the company website. From informational articles, newsletters, guides, blog posts, and a number of health books available for purchase, Bulletproof makes it easy and convenient to learn about wellness on their site.

The layout and design of the website is organized and visually appealing. The bright orange theme is recognizable and memorable. The fonts are unique and fit the strong, confident aesthetic of the brand.

Though they have been inactive as of late, their Youtube channel is filled with cooking tutorials, podcasts, and informational videos. Their social media pages are filled with similar content, making it easy for consumers to constantly be learning about wellness.

Bulletproof has been a leader in the health and wellness field since 2014. Their products have been featured on publications like The New York Times, Men? Health, CNN, and The Dr. Oz Show.

Cons:

On the company website and their socials, there is a lack of personality being expressed through the brand. On the site, there is a video of Dave Asprey, the founder of Bulletproof, explaining his motivation to create the brand and the experiences that led him to pay attention to the way his body reacts to certain foods and drinks. This video is personable and shows the true essence of the brand. And even this video is a fully edited and scripted. Besides this one video, there are never any other workers or users of the brand? products shown. We have no idea who works for this brand except the founder. Other companies sometimes have a ?eet the Team·section on their website that introduces key players of the brand. It can help build trust with consumers to also share regular, unedited footage of workers and contributors to the brand, as well as content showing normal people using the products.

It is slightly confusing why the two tabs, Shop·and Health Upgrades·on the company website aren't consolidated into one tab. Many of the pages they lead to overlap. Similarly, some of the pages on the Health Upgrades·tab also overlap with the ?earn·tab.

Though they mention the publications they're been featured in on their website, there are no links available or any additional information about which products were featured. Forcing the consumer to exert effort and do this research on their own could lead to some degrees of distrust.

Though the content on the brand's social media pages is well-curated and well-written, in the same light as ON 1· some of the images look too professional; to the point where some of them even look like stock photos from Google. Some of the images look too basic as well. The images that stand out are the ones with text accompanying them and with the Bulletproof·brand somewhere included in the image. However, for some of the images, it is literally just a plain picture of a cup of coffee.

IDEAL CUSTOMER

On the company website’s “About Bulletproof” page, they mention that their products are ideal for an “Athlete”, “Mathlete”, the “CEOs”, and “parents”. Though these groups are very different from each other, they all share one common trait: a desire to perform better. Whether is for the sport they love, the test they are trying to pass, or for their business or kids, Bulletproof’s ideal customers are constantly trying to improve their physical and mental conditions and get the most out of life.
