The unique angle that MTailor takes on custom tailoring provides a fresh take for the retail industry. As a consumer, I have never been exposed to smartphone application use in the pursuit of choosing the correct size online. It has always been a struggle for most online shoppers to find the right fit the first time. The hassle of returning clothes is a stressor. MTailor attempts to improve the online shopping experience of its customers with its innovative use of modern technology.
Affordability is always a factor. Compared to its competitors MTailor is the most affordable option for custom clothing. Formal wear should be a luxury that every individual gets to enjoy. MTailor is paving the way for custom-tailored, affordable garments.

Cons:
According to He Spoke Style, the two founders took their product to ABC's Shark Tank show and Miles Penn was deemed arrogant by Mark Cuban. This bit of bad press undermines the brand's intention. For a company that claims to be for the people, having an arrogant CEO does convey the same message the brand is trying to put out. It is important to have a spokesperson that is likable and relatable. If people dislike the CEO they will likely dislike the brand.
More attention to detail should be implemented into MTailors creative team. The photos that market the products are boring. The photos do not accurately display the quality and texture of each garment. The website is sterile. Other than the smartphone measuring app gimmick, what does the brand stand for "Working in men" fashion is more than just putting out a product? MTailor could focus more on the message they are trying to give off with their brand.
The pants line for MTailor does not make sense to me. They are primarily a formal wear custom tailor company. Why throw casual wear into the mix? And if they are keen on selling casual wear, why neglect casual shirts, hoodies, and jackets?
Expanding upon the brand? women's line could provide many benefits for MTailor. Women struggle with finding the right size arguably more than men do. The market for females is wide open. This app is too innovative and valuable to restrict it to mostly men's clothing. The versatile nature of women's fashion would greatly profit from this use of modern technology.
